In 2020 two friends from electrical and mechanical backgrounds decided to convert a motor home and a caravan to ‘off grid’ and to not be dependent on ‘hook ups’. We successfully achieved this and put them to the test by going on a ‘off grid’ holiday dependent on water only. Whilst on holiday we received mass interest in what we’d achieved and in 2021 we decided to start a business and our off grid journey began. Offgrid808 is now a carbon neutral company and part of the green energy initiative.
